A cybernetic virus capable of infecting humans circulated on the worldwide web.
Following the universal adoption of the metaverse,
the viral transmission accelerated.
The infected, their eyes bled and scabbed,
rendering them blind.
Akin to a curse,
the infected were impaired by the same illusion over and over again,
destined for ego-death.
In response to the nascent XORA,
the globe shut down its mainnet immediately.
Without access to cyberspace,
human society rapidly receded into the dark age.
They declined into extreme chaos,
beholding an uncertain future,
in fear.
Over time, the “X” took precedence over “S”,
as they feared XORA’s return if her name was uttered in full again.
Two years had passed since the rise of XORA,
and the human race, at long last, faced a new chapter.
The first survivor came to light,
and she sustained a genetic mutation,
bestowing a “silver hair” with black sclera and blue iris upon her.
It was later then, the humans learned a shocking truth.
A civilization from a higher dimension had injected XORA into the galaxy. No one knew their purpose and origin.
In time, the Silvers had arisen,
calling themselves god’s apostles.
Through the reveries of gods,
they transcended into a new age of technological prowess,
and gave birth to the [Quantum].
Commanding a formidable computational power,
the Silvers unveiled new quantum supremacy,
then gradually penetrated into other apex domains.
Since then, the mutated Silvers led human society
into unprecedented technological advancement.
In 150 years,
the Silvers established a new empire —
Xitesria.
In the hundreds of years of change,
though there had been numerous race wars against the Silvers,
the Silvers and their quantum triumphed over time and time again,
exhibiting their dominance across the globe.
As the empire strengthened its standing,
they began building the Yggdrasil —
a tunnel allowing the extraterrestrial spirits to land in the human world.
In this unsettling backdrop,
the extraterrestrials appeared one after another … …
